Mindfulness can be described as the voluntary practice of focusing your mind on the present moment and accepting it as it is without any manipulation or judgment. With this practice stemming from Buddhist meditation and the other traditional meditation systems, now this is being researched scientifically to ascertain its impact on the brain functions and well-being. Mindfulness is found to be the key to lasting happiness and a door to enhancing overall health and performance.
