How can I expect my body to change after doing yoga daily for several months?

If you are doing yoga right, slow and steady hold between poses, you will experience something called “isometric contraction” in the muscles; meaning that your fat will be burnt, you will build lean, strong, muscles, not bulkier. This is different from other forms of exercise such as lifting weights where the muscles mass get bigger. Also, traditional yoga such as hatha, Ashtanga is also different from cardio workouts like aerobic, running which focus on increasing heart rate, high-intensity demand within a short period of time, burnt larger amount of calories.
