For the term meditation, we can say that it is the advanced level of Samadhi and yoga. Though the basic purpose behind meditation is also to avail better health and peaceful and tranquil life the method is a bit complex.

The mediator has to be a master of his mind and should have powers to do mindfulness techniques. The concentration and focusing powers of the mediator need to be much sharp and these can only be polished through regular yoga practice.

Pranayama yoga, a technique that is practised just to train yogis to control their breathing system and regulates it in the right directions.
