Is meditation supposed to make you sleepy?

It is quite normal in meditation to become sleepy. In general, this form of meditation doesn't make you sleepy. The mind is alert the whole time. However, if a person doesn't get enough sleep at night, then it's not uncommon to fall asleep during meditation.
