Does yoga get you in shape?

The simple answer is probably no not on its own. I'm assuming that by "in shape" you mean to lose weight and build muscle strength and generally be fitter. Yoga will help you develop strength and flexibility. It can be quite aerobic as well depending on the style and poses you do.
