Meditation brings calmness to both your body and mind. It further improves your concentration and cures many physical and mental diseases.
Usually, it is said that meditation can be done only with closed eyes, but if you concentrate on one particular object as well, you can meditate.
Meditations are of various types.
If you are a beginner:
1. Find a low noise, peaceful area.
2. Make sure there is proper ventilation around..
3. Sit comfortably.
4. Start from practicing Shavasana i.e. gazing each and every body part internally. ( it can be done while sitting, standing or lying).
