Also, you know how people can get kind of obsessive about the particular kind of exercise they love? And then try to push it on you? (You MUST do ____, it's AMAZING!)
People can get obsessive and pushy about meditation, too :) We just get excited about the thing we are passionate about. Don't take it personally.
So, begin by being curious.
You have permission to try a few kinds along the way, as you find the teacher or style that you like.
So, there's no pressure to choose The One type of meditation out of the gate.
