For stimulating growth hormone, sarvangaasana is better because it has an effect to stimulate the thyroid gland.
Most of the people nowadays are in posture which makes their spine in ‘C’ shaped. For them bhujangaasana, paadahastaasana, gomukhaasana are beneficial to straighten up their spine.
But doing yoga in a sequence is advisable.
