What is the difference between Vipassana and Kriya meditation?

Kriya uses breathing and it's exercised to control emotions and change them. That may be the basic difference between them. Beyond the Anapaan stage, Vipassana has nothing to do with the breath unless the mind is unrestful and unable to maintain equanimity.
