ZIFT is recommended usually when a couple is unable to conceive after at least 1 year of trying and have failed attempts of IUI for 5-6 times.
It can help achieve conception in case of most types of infertility except for the following conditions:
1. Damage to fallopian tube
2. Blockage of fallopian tubes
3. When a woman is unable to produce eggs, donor eggs are used to carry out ZIFT
