I am not sure, if i understood your question properly. But, let me try to give a generic guideline for Diabetics.

If you are diabetic, please follow the bellow guideline.

  1. Keep strict control of your blood sugar level. This will delay development of eye complications.
  2. Yearly eye check-up and consultation by an Ophthalmologist without fail.
  3. If any visual problem ( like blurring of vision or reduced vision ) develops, consult with an Ophthalmologist immediately.
Development of Cataract can never be prevented completely. But a good sugar control can help in delaying that.
