Infertility is the condition when a couple is unable to bear a child after 6 months to 1 year of unprotected intercourse (below 35 years of age) or after 6 months of unprotected intercourse (above 35 years of age)

With growing environmental conditions, lifestyle, food intake etc. the cases of infertility have risen drastically since a decade. The World Health Organization estimates that approximately around 8-10 % of couples face one or the other form of infertility. Given 30-40% arise from female problems, 30-40% from male and rest account to unexplained infertility.
